1st December 2009
Letter of Introduction.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am looking for local business to partnership with, for our 5km Fun Run Event for our Health & Beauty Day Feb 2010 27th or 28th (pending Blacktown council) at Whalan Reserve.
I have partnership with Westmead Children’s Hospital and the proceeds of our fundraiser will go to them as the fundraiser cause is for Childhood Obesity Diabetes Awareness.
Blacktown Council has approved the Event at Whalan Reserve. We’re holding this Fun Run event to support and implement a range of community activities along with local business such as jumping castle, little athletics, local schools, tai chi, karate, judo, institute of natural therapies etc. I have received confirmation from North St Marys Public School and await responses from the other local public schools. There will be a prize given to the school that has the most participants registered.
It will be an early morning start and will finish midday, as the weather is sure to be a scorcher that time of year. A $10.00 entry fee for each participant and this will entitle them to a sausage sizzle sandwich and drink when finished the 5km Fun Run. This will be the first event and I am hoping that this will become and annual event held each year.
Our local Neighbourhood centre at North St Marys along with community newspapers and little athletics will help promote the event.
I kindly ask if you would put together something ie demonstrations for exposure and therefore promote your business. A $50.00 stall charge for the day to help cover insurance.
Please feel free to contact me direct on 0432 440 215.
Kind regards
Susan O’Brien
